Keys To Success

In life there are five keys to success. Persistence, Organisation, Confidence, Resilience and getting along with others. At school we have been learning to incorporate all these keys into our lives. All of these keys are important if you wish to succed in life. All of these help if you are troubled stressed or even down on luck. I know because I have incorporated these keys into my life and have never been happier. I have more friends, Im getting better grades and overall im a nicer and happier person. Im sure if people used these keys more often the world may be a bit more frienlier place for everyone. These keys have made me more success and more happier and I thank my teachers for this and will make me even more successful in my transition to high school.

Book Review – The Sleepwalker

The Sleepwalker is the second latest book fron the CHERUB Series. After a plane goes down over the Atlantic Cherub agents Jake Parker and Lauren Adams are sent into investigate after police receive a lead from a Twelve year old boy. Meanwhile on the CHERUB campus James is getting intotrouble while on work experience at a Fried Chicken Joint. Cherub gives you an action packed adrenalin packed thrill ride along with heart break, drama and comedy. I honestly believe that if you are an adolescent (or any age) you should really consider reading Sleepwalker and the whole Cherub series because i’ll know you’ll love it.

Book Review

CHERUB – The Fall

The Fall is another great book from the CHERUB series. When James Adams mission goes terribly wrong he must use all of his skill to get out of Russia alive. Meanwhile back on campus his sister Lauren is sent on her first solo mission to uncover a gruesome human trafficking mission.

The Cherub series is a must read for everyone because it delivers, excitement, action and laughs. Cherub is based on a section of British intelligence who uses children to infiltrate and gather intelligence. Cherub is a must read for Alex Rider lovers who have completed the series and looking for a new book to read.

So as you can see The Fall is a terrific book if your tens years old even up to Adulthood I must recommend not only The Fall but the whole CHERUB with new books being released all the time.

I think everyone has a favourite car. Even if its based on performance or its looks everyone has a favourite car and my favourite cars are lamborghni’s. It doesnt matter what sort of lamborghni it is I think their all terrific. But my most favorite car is the Lambourgni Murcielago. It goes fast looks great and does everything a good car should do. It might be sort of old but its still a great car. If you like Cars like I do you should watch top gear on SBS 1 at 7:30pm (sorry Australia only CST).

Book Week 2009

During week 6 we have been celebrating book week in school. We’ve had a Book fair, Jungle Bungle performance and Dress up parade. Today we had the Jungle Bungle performance and Dress up parade. Today everybody was allowed to dress up as their favourite character from their favourite book or just dress up. I dressed up as Simon Katich after reading a book about the ashes. Book Week would have to be one of my favourite weeks during the year. We also had performance about jungle which was funny and told a strrong message. Over all I enjoyed my last book week ever at primary school.

Parent High Flyer Reflection

For our homework this fortnight we had to show our parents the high flyer program for term 2, heres what my parents said. My mum thought that the high flyer looked like a lot of work but said it will help me achieve better things for now and in the future and will be worth the effort. My dad thought that it looked like a something that will help me as a student and let me achieve great results. In my opinion the high flyer arent easy things to get because you really have to strive to achieve one but will pay off in the end.

Art Piece

Impresionistic art uses colour, line and shape to express the artists thoughts, feelings and ideas.

I called my impressionistic art piece drought. I got the idea from when we were driving through the countryside and we saw all the bone – dry lakes. It really opened my eyes up to to see how dry these lakes can get in such a short period of time

My picture reminds me of swimming in Lake Bonney in Barmera when my cousins lived there. Now many of these places are completely dry all though some have still a bit of water. My art piece shows lots of sand which represents the dry lake bed and a little trickle of water in the middle.

Migration Museum Excursion

Today we went on a excursion to the Adelaide Migration Museum in the city. We learnt about some of the reasons why people moved to Australia and what was the reasons for moving. First we were split up into our 5 groups and from there we were given a suitcase. Inside the suitcase there were letters, documents and photos. We were tasked to find as much information as possible about our person. We discovered our person was William Jaycock and he was born in London 1906 and moved to Australia in 1922 whenhe was 15. He came to Australia under the Barwell scheme which was made to bring English boys to Australia to become Farm Apprentices. William soon became bored and missed his family so he found enough money to return home. I really enjoyed learning about the journeys people make to move to Australia and the reasons people move to Australia and the things people go through.

My Book Review

At the moment I am reading CHERUB – The Killing. This is my reponse to the question “Which character would you  like as a friend? Why?. Give supporting reason to clarify your choice.

In the book im reading the person I would like to be friends with is James. James is a tall strong, intelligent English born twelve year old boy with a taste for danger. Some of the reasons I would like to be friends with James is that he is very smart at maths, he has got a black belt in karate and has a taste for danger. I think these charateristics would make a good friend because he could help me with all my maths problems I might have. Also if someone tried to assualt me on the strreet he could teach me how to protect myself and show me how to take some more risks in my life and teach me to live at the fullest.
